Implementation Plan

It has been imperative for us at this stage to create a time line to have a basic idea of when each phase of our project should be completed. As our target market is college students who only have vocations from June-August,we have worked our time lines around that time span.

Building a Team: The first task would be to hire an initial team. This could include just basic team members essential for early operations. Further, as the requirement increases more team members who have the necessary skills and comply with the culture of the organization could be added.
Preliminary market research: As the team is getting set up, preliminary research about the target village, the facilities and logistics could be mapped out. This activity is essential to understand the scope of social innovations that could be carried out in the given area. We would have to evaluate the Multinational Companies that we wish to reach out to.
Pitch to investors: Having decided the group and the type of industry, our next step would be to approach these companies. If the company has an existing Corporate Social Responsibility plan in place, we could make a program to integrate their interests into our venture.
Finalize project: With the help of investors and the preliminary market research we device a final plan which would include a list of domains where the students can have an impact.
Organize Logistics: As the project is now finalized, we now could start working on organizing logistics in the rural area. This step is an ongoing process that exists till the students have successfully made an impact.
Pitch to students: With some basic idea on logistics and finalized projects, we would now be in a position to approach colleges and pitch to students. This may require some student ambassador partnership to advertise and reach out to a larger audience.
Select students For fellowship: From the students who apply, a designated number of students would be selected to go on the fellowship.
Cultural sensitivity in the villages: The residents of the village would be given basic training so they get a basic understanding of the urban lifestyle. Discussions on issues like security and gender bias would help prepare villages for the incoming youth.
Execute: From June to July the fellowship will be in action. The students will have an opportunity to experience rural lifestyle while making a positive impact in that area.
Feedback: Feedback from the students and the villagers would be essential to make the subsequent cycle of this program a success.
Measure social impact and Create Investors Report: The social impact would be analyzed and a subsequently the investors would be given a report with the final impact of the venture.
